Bridging Nature and Finance: Capitalizing on Nature’s Value as a Tangible Asset and Investment Opportunity

David and Stephen will introduce natural capital and its relevance to TNFD, business performances, and corporate sustainability. This group discussion will explore corporate benefits and draft an action plan to move towards a nature-positive society.

In tandem with the Natural Capital Manifesto, this session will focus on how we can leverage environmental science, data analytics, digital technologies, and financial innovations to establish frameworks that recognize and capitalize on the value of natural ecosystems. By creating a new asset class centered around nature, we can measure how investments in conservation efforts can be quantified and rewarded, and further integrated into mainstream investment practices.
